Team SCOTT Carrera Alto Sil on the Podium at GORE-TEX Transalpine Run 2013

The 2013 GORE TEX Transalpine Run was a successful edition from SCOTT‘s perspective. The Spanish team SCOTT Carrera Alto Sil with SCOTT athlete Pablo Villa (ESP) and his teammate Manuel Merillas (ESP) ranked 2nd in the overall finish. They set the pace already in the first meters of the race and made it onto the podium each of the 8 competition days. Finishing only 30 minutes behind the winning duo Cameron Clayton (USA) and Dimitris Theodorakakos (GRE), Pablo and Manuel showed consistency and performance throughout all 8 stages.
SCOTT Sports would also like to thank the Spanish GORE TEX Transalpine Run team with Roberto Martin and Andrés Martin for their remarkable sport performance during the whole preparation and during the race. The two Spanish guys from Candelario won their registration on a SCOTT Facebook contest and were fully equipped with SCOTT and GORE TEX gear. We are happy that our jury selected the right team to finish one of the hardest trail running races worldwide.
